I love those videos of people trying on color blind glasses – like nothing else, they bring home the absolute power of color in our world. As a creative director, it’s part of my job to work with my team to channel that power purposefully. Color is integral to marketing – it’s a fundamental part of conveying emotion and helping influence perceptions.
Two years ago, we set out to establish a brand identity for Inviso Marketing, and selected magenta as our dominant color. It fit the bill perfectly as a warm, vibrant, and energetic complement to navy blue, the mainstay color for Inviso Corporation. Magenta is part of a value range that has a great deal of energy. It’s alive, joyful, and surprisingly versatile. It also strikes a great balance with the more professional blue, adding a playful element that reflects Inviso Marketing’s personality and the energy we bring to our work.
So we were super excited to learn that others agree — “Viva Magenta” is Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2023. We salute you and your discerning eye. And will join you in proclaiming this as the year of strength, inclusivity, and self-expression.
