Wrapping up an internship with HubSpot and Apollo

As summer comes to an end, so does my internship here at Inviso Marketing.

These few months have been a whirlwind filled with learning, growth, and plenty of coffee. Looking back, one of the highlights has been diving headfirst into the world of CRM (customer relationship management) tools, particularly HubSpot and Apollo.

Getting my feet wet

When I first heard that I’d be working with CRM tools, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. It didn’t take long before I realized just how central they are to marketing. With lots of playing around and crash course YouTube videos, I was soon off to the races, learning how to manage and nurture leads, automate email campaigns, and track interactions.

Making waves with HubSpot

HubSpot quickly became my go-to. Its friendly interface made it easy to navigate, even for someone who was still figuring things out. I got to work setting up custom workflows, segmenting contact lists, and creating reports on campaign performance. But the real “aha!” moment came when I figured out HubSpot’s automation features. By setting up triggers and personalized sequences, I was able to help the team engage with leads more effectively.

Sailing into new territory with Apollo

Apollo was a game changer. While HubSpot helps nurture relationships, Apollo’s strength is prospecting. I immediately began identifying potential leads that aligned with our ideal customer profile. By the end of my internship, I’d built a strong library of quality leads that the team can continue to engage with.

The final stretch

HubSpot and Apollo have not only equipped me with valuable skills but have also given me a deeper understanding of how technology can transform marketing. The opportunity to contribute to real projects and see tangible results has been rewarding.

Looking ahead, I’m excited to take these lessons with me wherever I go. While it’s bittersweet to say goodbye, I know this is just the beginning of the journey. Thanks to the team at Inviso Marketing, I’m ready to ride the next wave, whatever it may be.
